Louise Caithness MBIAE - Clinic Director

Louise brings to Skin Solutions 15 years of experience in the skin care industry and is a member of the British Institute and Association of Electrolysis.

She has practised in both small businesses and large international companies, the latter when she was National Commercial Training Manager for the UK's leading skincare company.

The most recent stage of Louise's career was to establish and operate one of Edinburgh's leading skincare businesses which has been running successfully since 2002.

Louise draws particular satisfaction from improving the condition and appearance of her clients' skin and their overall wellbeing.  She quickly realised that there was an opportunity to develop this aspect of the business with more advanced corrective treatments.  Being fully trained in electrolysis she then further developed these skills to enable her to perform minor cosmetic skin procedures.  Louise recently achieved the highest National exam result for the past 8 years.

Louise is always striving for perfection and her ability to relate to people in a positive, friendly and engaging manner ensures her clients a very personal treatment with exceptional results.



Alan McInnes - Commercial Director

Alan graduated with a BSc (Hons) from Glasgow University in 1984.

For the past 25 years he has been responsible for the sales, marketing and operational management within various Multi National Companies.  He began his career in the Oil Industry as a Graduate Trainee with Mobil Oil Company (now ExxonMobil). This was then followed by a number of years with Chevron Corporation. Alan then progressed into the Motor Industry and enjoyed many successful years of employment with Ford Motor Company, Toyota (GB) and more recently with prestige brand Lexus (GB).  His business travels have taken him all over the world, however, he is now firmly focussed on developing Skin Solutions here in Scotland.

Alan will undoubtedly be drawing on his wealth of commercial experience gained throughout his career, whilst fully utilising his Life Science degree in his new role.  He is looking forward to developing the concept of Skin Solutions to ensure that it becomes the leading advanced corrective skin clinic in the UK.

Alan's main responsibilities include the development of marketing programmes, best value/co-operation with suppliers, event management and relationships with major customers to name but a few.
